Inter Milan vs AC Milan Cupcakes

it's funny how this week i got two double orders, the first is the spongebob squarepants cupcakes (mbak meiske and for my cousin this sunday) and another is this..
THE SOCCER THEME..

i'm not a big fan of soccer..
for me soccer it's a silly game with a bunch of guys chasing one ball to put in the opposing team's net *please don't be offended i like to share my silly point of view haha*
so when one order says inter milan and anpther says AC milan i thought they're the same team since they're both using milan hehehe..

anyways to make a long story short..
the inter milan cupcaked are orders from intan for her bro pri..
she wanted to thank him and since his favorite soccer theme is inter milan so voila..

he was pleased, happy, jumping with joy when i hand delivered these cupcakes to him..
he even asked about the possibility of these cupcakes to be preserved *i said on the contrary these cupcakes will be ruined if you keep it in the fridge*

and here are the AC milan cupcakes for seserahan or engagement party..
these are meda's orders for her soon to be fiancee..
the theme is AC Milan since it's his favorite soccer theme, this is my first time making a full fondant cupcakes..
but i don't recommend it since fondant is way too sweet and it will give u a toothache..
a combination of butter cream and fondant is acceptable for my taste but full fondant hmmmmm :/

Spongebob Squarepants Cupcakes for Mbak Meiske

these cupcakes were an order by my senior, mbak meiske..
she saw the gary that i made for my cousin upcoming birthday this sunday, so she ordered the same for her friend..
why the dark pic?
well she planned a surprise party so i had to finish the cupcakes in the evening and take the pic right away..
these babies got picked up at 11.30 pm heheh..
my latest pick up so far :D

i stuck the fondant toppers right away because they were going to be eaten right away..
but i did refrigerate it for like 30 mins because the cream cheese frosting was melting, even the squidward slid right out of its place i quickly fixed it but it ruined the frosting..
mbak meiske didn't mind though, she was pleased with what i had to offer..

malah inget janji bawa lulur sekar jagad dari bali :D
heheheheh baru kali ini jualan cupcakes barter sama lulur mbak..
and the funny thing is she payed an extra Rp 50.000 so i'm gonna transfer the extra cha-ching tomorrow..

CHOCOLATE SOUFFLE WITH WHITE CHOCOLATE MINT CREAM

these are the new flavor!!
chocolate souffle which is basically a flour-less chocolate cake topped with whipped cream with melted white chocolate and a tad of mint extract..
so the inside is like a bread pudding or inside of a chocolate melt..
with the souffle cup you only get 9 cupcakes..
how did it taste?
i finished three of them by myself :D

Red Velvet Cupcakes for Ana

half dozen red velvet with plain and chocolate cream cheese frosting

this is ana's order for someone she won't mention hehehe..
she mentioned she wanted to order from last week but confirmed it a few days before the initial date..
thank god i had red food coloring and cream cheese otherwise i had to go to the store to buy it *MALAS*
so i whipped these babies out and voila the final result :)

oh yes if you noticed this is my first time putting sprinkles on a chocolate frosting..
to me chocolate frosting just doesn't look good with anything except sanding crystal or chocolate jimmies or chocolate candy on top..
but since ana loves pink and anything with hearts i said what the heck and went along with it..

the decoration, color sprinkles and frosting is up to me since these cupcakes are meant to be eaten straight away..
i always try to do something different with my plain cupcakes, that way i'm the one entertained looking at their pictures hahaah..

"Hannah Montana" Theme Cupcakes

2 dozen chocolate and 2 dozen vanilla cupcakes

these cupcakes are for my cousin who just turned 10 (01/03) last monday, she celebrated her birthday last saturday..
i made the toppers from last week so it was perfectly bone dry..
the theme is hannah montana using three colors baby blue, purple and pink..
there are three kind of toppers: a star with a microphone, a guitar and an ipod..
then in the middle there are 6 cupcakes squished together in which on top i put "happy bday manda" from fondant embossed, lustred and printed..

included this order i made the other previous orders..
so i made 96 cupcakes in total, the amount of dishes needed to be washed was outrageous, even my room is still in total chaos..
i couldn't feel my back nor my feet..
and i got a scar from my over :(
*whiny b!tch mode: on* heheheh
but i'm not complaining, it's all good..
because it comes from the heart and i always bake my cupcakes with love..
i just hope the people eating eat can feel it ;)

bday gurl blowing her candles

"Happy Birthday Sara" Cupcakes

a dozen red velvet and half dozen lemon cupcakes

this was edna's order again..
this is for her lil' sis bday her name is sara..
she wanted cupcakes that spelled "happy birthday sara" so she ordered one dozen red velvet and half dozen lemon cupcakes..
the "happy birthday sara" is molded out of dark chocolate, since sara doesn't like white chocolate..
the red velvet is topped with a "poop"like swirl with a single red heart sprinkle on top and the lemon is topped with a dome shape frosting with a single red heart sprinkle..

as usual she was very specific with what she wanted, so this order wasn't hard at all..
and there's something with the red-white-dark chocolate color combination that looks sophisticated for a young adult's bday..
maybe i just like the simplicity :D

she asked for 4 different frostings: the green is mint, the yellow is cheese, the white is vanilla and the chocolate of course is chocolate DUH! hehehe..

Hello Kitty Cupcakes for Nayarra

half dozen chocolate crunch and lemon cupcakes

these hello kitty cupcakes are for dita's niece nayarra who just turned two..
the theme colors are purple, pink and red but i didn't make a red frosting because it looks scary in the midst of pastel colors hehe..
i made 6 hello kitty toppers but i didn't make bow because i don't have the cutter and i'm not confident of my hand shaping skill since i am way of a beginner in fondant..
the other six toppers are cut into two shapes: flower and star, it says "happy birthday nayarra" in small letter stamp and brushed with gold lustre..
the hardest part was making the whiskers of the hello kitty, shaping it was a pain, sticking it was the worst..
and suddenly IT RAINED REALLY REALLY HARD, literally POURING..
so i had to leave my room air conditioned for 36 hours straight so these toppers could dry properly..

oh the hello kitty figure in the middle is mine, i just put it as an accessory to decorate the picture hehe..

EGG TARTS

egg tarts are known as pie susu in indonesia..
i don't know why but they just don't translate right hehe..
anyways, this is our new product..
aside from cupcakes we're also making other baking goods..
these are Hong Kong style egg tart which is different from the Portuguese style..
from what i read the Portuguese style has a pastry base, the Hong Kong style has a pie-like base..

she wanted to give these cupcakes for her baby sister who turned 9 last monday (22/02)..
she picked them up with her fiancee :)
she said her lil sis and her cousins loved the cupcakes especially the frosting (that's just how lil' kids are)..
even the house to dirty because of the crumbs heheh..
